Three years ago Jeff Bezos saved The Expanse from a premature death in the cold depths of space. As the fifth season (the second on Amazon Prime) wraps up the Regular Joes comment on this, in many ways, unique Sci Fi (no longer SyFi) show. The political thriller, action adventure, human drama, continues to deliver, while deviating slightly, from the novel series by James S. A. Corey ... which Tod references several times after promising not to. Watch it, read it, whatever. Great stuff. Alan Tudyk, who you may recall from Firefly, Rogue One and a gajillion other roles, is back in the Sci Fi saddle, sort of, in Resident Alien. This story of a lone Alien trapped on Earth has been told many times but never anything quite like this.
