After the five Regular Joe’s spent much of the afternoon engrossed in day one of the Prop Store auction Barry, Dave, Tod and Brian got together to decompress, recover from a brutal case of price shock, and mourn the ones that got away. There are a lot of things that have changed in the last year. Who could have imagined that one of the them would have been the price of Film and TV production props. Once the obscure province of nerdy collectors of entertainment ephemera, the prop marketplace has changed to include Friday the 13th Jason masks that go for Bentley list prices. Let’s not even get started on Indy props. There’s still two days to go. Even money on whether Episode 396 finds our hosts significantly poorer, or simply more depressed. Thanks for listening!
