They're into movies, toys and TV shows, comics and collecting and super heroes.  There's no end to the useless stuff they know, but don't call them GEEKS, they're just Regular Joes!

With dozens of films, and now several streaming series, the Marvel Cinematic Universe always runs the risk of becoming predictable. Yeah, not so much. This week the Regular Joes take a look at Disney+/Marvel’s most recent offerings, She Hulk Attorney at Law, a limited run series, and Werewolf by Night, the first MCU standalone “Special Presentation.” If it were a comic Werewolf by Night would be called a One-Shot. The self contained story, with roots in Marvel’s 1970’s flirtation with the macabre, introduces Werewolf Jack Russell, demon hunter Elsa Bloodstone and swamp creature Man-Thing to the MCU live action pantheon. If you have any fondness for 50’s horror films you need to see it. She-Hulk is a workplace comedy about Bruce Banner‘s cousin, which predictably, has been relentlessly targeted by online trolls. This is fitting, as the ultimate bad guys in the series turn out to be SPOILER … a collective of online trolls. If that seems to meta this may not be the show for you. But if you’re comfortable with things, at times literally, out of the box, the hosts agree, you will want to give it a try. It wouldn’t be an episode without a helping of Random Topics, so you get that as well. Thanks for listening!
