After what seems like a long drought of TV shows and Movies to get excited for, several trailers and teasers have dropped giving even the most cynical of us (Dave) cause for hope. First up there’s Star Trek, lots and lots of Star Trek. The franchise that CBS (now Paramount+) built their streaming platform on the back of is back with more iterations than most of us ever imagined. Lower Decks continues, Discovery is cued up for season 4, Picard returns to tried and true formulas, Prodigy . . . well, so far no one cares. Then there is Star Trek: Strange New Worlds, which seems to be the thing most everyone agrees on. In December HBO Max (also in theaters) brings us back to the Matrix. Whether we are ready for that or not. Red pill or poison pill? There’s also What’s in the Box . . . including Dave’s previously teased, screen used, culinary implement/ improvised weapon, prop acquisition, and the usual Random Topics. Thanks for Listening!
