After some Random Topics, Barry fills us in on one of his recent projects (or is it long standing obsession?) in What’s on My Workbench. Next Dave gives his impressions of the recently released Rick Deckard gun from Blade Runner and Blade Runner 2049. This prop has been something of a Holy Grail for Sci-Fi fans for decades, and this first-ever licensed version from Tomenosuke is both very expensive and detailed enough for a supporting role in the recent sequel. From there we roll in to a brief examination of quintessential Sci-Fi side arms from film and TV. Thanks for listening!

Starting with genre defining X-Men in 2000 there have been 45 films based on Marvel Comics characters. Picking ten favorites among these is not an easy task. Particularly when our three hosts can’t come to anything like consensus on how the lists should be ranked/stacked/defined or rated. Nevertheless we did. While there are few surprises at the top end of the lists midway through things diverge wildly. What makes a great superhero film? Watchability? Nostalgia value? Or regard for the original material? We don’t definitively answer those questions...but we give it our best shot. All this plus, What’s in the Box, and the usual side order of Random Topics. Thanks for listening!

Disney has Jon Favreau lined up to helm the first ever Stars Wars live action tv series. So is that good news, or great news? Also on the SW front, Rebels has wrapped. Find out (in a mostly spoiler free way) what the Regular Joes thought of the series, and what they hope to see next from the Star Wars branch of the house of mouse. Hot Toys, our favorite 1/6 scale maker has just served up another batch of figures. So which 4 have found their way into the Joe’s display cases.  Lastly, we go back to The workbench for an update on what the Joes are working on right not. Check out the new gallery of Dave’s Prop builds projects @ RegularJoes.com. That’s for listening!
